Our Digital Resources
We offer a robust suite of digital resources that extend far beyond its physical shelves. Through its partnership with the Arkansas Digital Library Consortium (ADLC), cardholders can borrow e-books, audiobooks, and magazines for free via the Libby app or the OverDrive platform — all of which function from smartphones, tablets, or computers so readers can access library materials wherever they are.
Meanwhile, the library also provides remote access at the building to genealogical and research-database tools such as Ancestry Library Edition (for exploring census, immigration, land records and more) and the statewide “Traveler Statewide Resources” system of online databases, which means patrons have strong research capabilities from home or onsite.
In addition to the e-reading and research platforms, the library’s digital resources include remote access to full-text magazines, streaming audio/video, and databases for homework help, career development, and adult learning.
Patrons without a library card may even obtain temporary digital-only access in certain cases, enabling them to use selected online resources before applying for full membership.
