Jackson County Library offers access to a wide range of digital materials through Libby, Freading, and eBook Central. With these services, patrons can enjoy e-books, audiobooks, and more—free with your library card.

Read e-Books Through Libby

Jackson County Library is a member of the Arkansas Digital Library Consortium, giving patrons access to thousands of e-books, audiobooks, and magazines through the Libby app by OverDrive. With just a few taps, you can borrow titles instantly, download them for offline reading, or stream them to save space on your device. All digital items return automatically on their due date—no late fees ever.

Why Libby?
Libby provides a clean, modern, and easy-to-use interface for browsing and enjoying digital materials. It is the preferred app for OverDrive collections, though the classic OverDrive app may still function for some users. Libby is available for phones, tablets, e-readers, and computers.

To get started, download Libby, select Jackson County Library, and log in using your library card number and PIN.

Your PIN is the last four digits of your library card number.

Freading

Jackson County Library also offers Freading, a continually growing collection of e-books available with no waiting lists. With Freading’s token-based system, patrons can borrow from a wide selection of titles anytime. Access Freading using your library card number and PIN.
